Cream Cheese Swirl Blondies

I have to say these are one of my all time favorites! Being that I don't like chocolate, I think blondies are better then brownies any day.

BLONDIES
1 cup plus 6 tbsp. butter
2 cups brown sugar
3 1/3 cups plus 4 tbsp. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1.5 tsp. salt
6 eggs
3 tsp. vanilla
12oz. cream cheese (room temperature)
1/2 cup granulated sugar

PREHEAT: oven to 325 degrees.

COMBINE: 18 tbsp. butter and brown sugar with electric mixer.

ADD: 4 eggs, 2 tsp. vanilla, 3 1/3 cups flour, baking powder, salt.

MIX: in separate bowl - cream cheese, sugar, 4 tbsp. butter, 4 tbsp. flour, 2eggs, 1 tsp. vanilla

POUR: half of batter in 9x13 pan lined with buttered parchment. Add 2/3 of cream cheese mixture. Drop remaining batter on top. Drop last of cream cheese mixture on top.

SWIRL: use a butter knife to drag through top of blondies.

BAKE: for 45 minutes.
